Most headphones fire sound directly into the ear canal. The Grell Audio OAE2 takes a different approach.

Drivers are positioned to interact with the outer ear (pinna) — preserving the spatial cues we normally experience when listening to speakers.

The result is a wider and more natural soundstage with realistic instrument placement and reduced "in-head" presentation with a listening experience closer to studio monitors.
