HiFi Tuning Fuses
Among hi-fi enthusiasts, they're called "tweaks." These are little items and things you can do to improve the sound of your home music system and we all try them?
Over the years, little had changed when it came to the fuse that's why electrical engineers and hi-fi addicts started thinking. But soon they realized that the AC fuse was the lowest common denominator. The inexpensive, throwaway part acts like an hour-glass for electricity. What would happen if they could re-engineer the fuse?
Enter the HiFi-Tuning range of fuses, these replacement super premium fuses are hand-made and tested in Germany. The Supreme ranges of fuses are tip-to-tip of 99% silver combined with 1% 24 karat gold. This is similar to the material used in the highly desired Mundorf Supreme silver/gold capacitors. Mundorf developed for HiFi-Tuning a special silver/gold solder for use in the Supreme fuses.

The fuses have also been resonance-optimized to control vibration. According to HiFi-Tuning, "The drawing process for silver (or copper) wire causes micro cracks in the surface of the wire. The cooling process also results in imperfect crystal grid structures. Both of these 'deformities', relative to the ideal of a perfect conductor, result in surface distortion when current flows through the wire.
The addition of 24 karat gold fills the micro cracks and the empty spaces between the crystal boundaries to improve transmission properties, while also inhibiting the surface oxidation and tarnishing that will occur over time otherwise." These custom, precious metal fuses are also cryogenically treated. Finally, the Supreme fuses are treated with a proprietary quantum level process.
All this for a fuse I hear you cry as we all know a CHAIN IS ONLY AS GOOD AS ITS WEAKEST PART so why not put the fuse under the same scrutiny!!
A little about myself by trade I am an electronic engineer that has been in the HiFi industry for over 15years and when I heard customers saying about these fuses I thought how can a fuse make this much difference it just carries voltage and current over a small area.
I did not say no this cannot be possible as many people do, I thought I have heard stranger things in this industry and went and purchases a Hifi-Tuning fuse for my Stax 006t headphone amplifier thinking if it made a difference there I will defiantly hear it through these earspeakers.
The difference to me was immediate the easiest way of putting it was like installing a new set of interconnects to my system worth £500+ and all I did was replace a fuse!!
I know this idea of changing a fuse is quite controversial but think about cables, most people say changing there cables makes a difference so why not the part that connects to them (fuses). These are only my findings and this is why I am now doing HiFi-Tuning as I do believe they made a difference to my hifi system.
